Remembering the 32

Today we remember the 32 students and faculty members at Virginia Tech that were tragically killed by a very angry and disturbed young man. Dozens of others were wounded in the rampage, and all of us connected to VT were mentally wounded that day, with the horrific images burned into our memories. A link below will take you to the Virginia Tech Day of Remembrance website where there is an image of each person that lost his or her life that day.

My heart go's out to the 32 students and there families, and those who were injured. There are more and more reports of violence in schools every day, what is making these young people snap? I have a son in high school, he is a junior and my daughter is getting ready for her third of College, I am holding my breath and hoping they can compete there education with out incident. I know I am not the only parent that has these fears, all we can do is have faith, and hopefully someone is watching over them.....May GOD Bless.

Great post,

sometimes we just need to think about how blessed we are, and to pray for others and their families in a time mourning.

The three year anniversary (if you can call it that) of the April 16 2007 massacre at Virginia Tech is almost upon us again. I resurrected the original 2008 thread I posted from the 1st year as a remembrance of the 32 innocent people that lost their lives that day.

May we continue to pray for their families.

Events this year:
