Exclamation Replacement WaterPur Water Cartridges

I just did a "Google" search for replacement water filter cartridges for our WaterPur filter system in our Rockwood 2605S. The internet site that I was directed to was "waterfilters.net" which has the statement "WaterPUR is currently not providing new cartridges, but the Floplus-10 is a popular replacement option." Before I placed my order to "waterfilters.net" I decided to give WaterPur Company a call and am I glad I DID!!! The above statement is FALSE...WaterPur does provide replacement water filter cartridges, but they do have to be ordered directly from the company or their website: www.waterpur.com. The customer service rep that I spoke to at WaterPur said they are currently dealing with "waterfilters.net" regarding this discrepency. I'm bringing this to your attention so you do not fall "victim" to merchandise that does not fit or is not compatible to the WaterPur system that is in the Forest River products.

I believe that you will find they are standard size.
This you should be able to go to Home Depot or Lowes or Walmart
or many others and just buy a replacement filter for a "whole house"
type filter. I always get one that says activated charcoal and it works
great to remove sediment and chlorine smell and taste.
Cost around $10 for a 2 pack.

Go to Canadian Tire, look for the Rainfresh filters and cartridges. They start at $7.00 for a pair, WAY less expensive than the Water Pur ones.

I get my filters off eBay. The size is very common.

Take an old filter with you. There seem to be several brands that have the same mechanical fit, sort of like flashlight batteries.

If it fits, it will work. You can get good, better and best depending on your wallet and what you believe when you read the packaging.
