Residential frig?

So, thinking about getting a TT, 50 amp with a residential frig.
It is my understanding that it will not run off of propane gas.
So, how does it work when you are driving? Or does it?

Our frig runs off a pass-through inverter that you turn on prior to unhooking shore power. The inverter runs off the 12 volt system of the trailer.

Your TV alternator should keep the batteries up to charge (or close) when driving and while the inverter is pulling current from the batteries to run the 120 volt reefer. Depending on the model of reefer it will average about 8 amps continuously or less and the TV charge line, if well installed, should be able to keep up with that or not fall that far behind.

Make sure you have an inverter switch so you can run fridge while in tow.

agreed. it will run off the batteries and tow vehicle via the inverter while travelling. but to bigger issue has to do with running the refrigerator while not hooked up to shore power (if that is what you intend to do).
