Response from Forest River
My wife and I are brand new to RV Life. We purchased our Cedar Creek Cottage in May and have it parked in Florida. There were two recall notices sent out recently that we called Forest River on. Initially, The Customer service Rep was responsive, gave us a number to call for Mobile service. Called but Mobile Service Company said they were no longer handling warranty service for Forest River because Forest River didn't pay well!
Called Forest River back. Customer Service rep Genesis said because it was a recall they would pay all costs so I scheduled the Mobile Service company to come and take a look. Received a bill for $279 from Mobile Service. Tried calling Genesis at FR to see how I get reimbursed. Keep getting his voice mail and leaving messages with no return call back. 4 calls in last week!
Have others had issues getting response from Forest River or difficulties getting warranty or recall issues taken care of?
