Rocwood 8312SS in Cherry or Tuscan Cream

We think we have decided that the Rockwood 8312SS will be our next TT. Wife likes the Tuscan Cream as she thinks it brightens up the interior. I like the cherry as I think it gives it a richer look and feel the Tuscan Cream will get old looking after awhile while cherry will stand the test of time. Can anyone comment on these colors and if you like them in your unit but wished you had purchased the other color. tks

We looked a t a Tuscon Cream and did not like the cream and really felt the same way about it getting old. So we went with the cherry and haven't regretted it at all and there is something about cherry that just makes an RV look soo nice and warm inside.

My camper has cherry throught except for the cabinet above the sink and above the couch which are a cream. The cream makes it feel more open but the cherry looks richer

Thanks everyone. GEtting down to crunch time. I can get a pre-ordered unit in cherry the way I would have ordered it in 2 weeks or order the Tuscan Cream and wait 7 weeks which is fine as I won't need now anyways. Just hate to order without seeing the Tuscan Cream. Wife wants Tuscan. I am torn. Anyone else? tks

We saw the Cherry and that's what we ordered. But then , DW and I both agreed which made the decision easy. Tuscon looked cheap and camper like.

I also have the cherry interior and love it. The only problem I have found is if the finish is scratched or a corner is worn the white wood underneith shows badly. My dealer recommended to keep a can of similar colored shoe polish handy.

We have light oak and tan/light green kind of interior. I think it makes the camper look bigger.

I have seen the darker units with cherry cabinets and they also look great. Very "homey" and cosy, I admit, but smaller somehow.

I loved the way the Tuscan Cream looked in the brochures....but when I saw it for 'real', I didn't.
I went with the Oak...I usually hate Oak, but it seemed fitting for this small trailer, and I thought scratches and dents wouldn't show up as much, as they would with a darker stain.

We also opted for the combo on the unit we have on order. We went with Tuscan in the kitchen and cherry throughout the rest of the trailer. We liked the idea of the kitchen being kind of a separate room from the main living area, and the different colors helped make this distinction.

We went with the Cherry as it made the cabiets feel richer and warmer. The tuscan looked low grade and dingy to us. Although I will admit it does give a lighter feel to the trailer.
When it comes don to it "She who must be obeyed" should win.

We have oak in our house, so wanted something different in the camper, so went with cherry. Everyone who walks into our unit always stop for a second, and stand in silence with their mouths open. That's all I need to know!

Here's a post from " she who must be obeyed" - LOL! I've seen the Tuscan cream and I hated it. Looks so cheap and "cheesy". I was leaning towards oak, but hubby talked me into cherry and now I know I'm going to love it. We don't have our unit yet, but I've seen all three and cherry wins hands down. It looks so rich, as opposed to the Tuscan cream, which looks very "trashy." fight for either the oak or cherry; you won't be happy with the Tuscan. And not every woman needs to be right 100 percent of the time or get their way in every endeavor. Tell her almost every poster on these forums voted against it. She'll get over it.

I relaize it is a little late for this but figured I would throw this out there in case someone else comes across this and wanted to know

I ordered my 2306 with Oak cabinets - the one thing I did like was the flooring that came with the Tuscan (wood Look Flooring) so I asked if the wood look floor could be ordered with oak or cherry and I was able to get the wood look floor for about $200 or $250 which was well worth it to me cause I like the wood look over the squares.
