Roll Top Desk secured

Wife and I are looking at taking 1 of 2 sofas out of RV and replace with a roll top desk that is collecting dust in my shop. It has the 4 legs not the cabinet/drawer type for legs so I am wondering how to keep this desk secured without falling all over the place while traveling. At first I thought maybe some eye hooks and tie down straps but looking at other ways of securing it. Any suggestions? Thanks

Consider how the weight distribution will be affected by this change. A roll-top desk, filled with the kinds of things that fill desks, can be quite heavy.

Weight distribution probably won’t be a problem, but it is worth making sure—especially if the proposed location is behind the axles.
