I just bought a gallon of RV antifreeze that lists the 1st ingredient as Ethyl Alcohol !!! Geez, I wonder when the winos of the world will figure this 1 out.
Seriously, I would prefer to put ethyl alcohol in my camper lines rather than the common propylene glycol (the 2nd ingredient), as I usually do a daily dose of ethyl alcohol anyway.
But I have never seen this as an ingredient in RV antifreeze before, and it just surprised me.
The other ingredients are water, colorant, and fragrance.
BTW, even water has an MSDS sheet. Included are these 1st Aid instructions:
Eyes: If irritation develops, get medical aid.
Skin: Get medical aid if irritation develops or persists.
Ingestion: Get medical aid if irritation or symptoms occur.
Just wondering what other members that use an RV antifreeze what they thoughts are on using ethyl alcohol in the their lines.
