RV Bunk ladder

We just purchased a Forester class c motorhome.
The bunk ladder is fine for kids but as an adult I find it difficult and uncomfortable to get down especially. Are there any alternatives to regular bunk ladders that may work?
Thank you

Not sure what exactly you are looking for, but here is a post about a ladder I built since my camper came with NO ladder for a triple bunk. It was super easy. If *I* can do it, anybody can!

I assume out ladders are a bit different, but I put pool noodles wrapped with duct tape around mine. It makes it much easier on my feet. My son also likes it better.

We bought a residential wooden bunk bed ladder for my last rig from Amazon.

On the current toy hauler, we needed a tall ladder for how we have the beds setup in the garage. My father-in-law made one for us out of 2x4s. It’s most excellent.

The best and strongest ladders are by Coachmen/Adrenaline. They are steel tubing and welded angle iron, this is then powder coated. You could purchase one of those. I simply built a sturdy one out of oak for my trailer when I added a high Murphy bed, and stained and varnished it to match our interior.

Buy (3) eight foot 1" x 3" oak boards, and a single oak closet rod. Depending on if you prefer flat steps, or round grab rails at the top. Cut the two side pieces. Get your angle correct for your top bed, lay out the pattern for the steps, and dado in the 3/4" slots to put them. Use good wood glue or Gorilla glue. and drill in pilot holes for a couple grabbers in each side. The oak is indestructible, looks nice, and is far stronger than a 2x4".
