My wife and I are planning a trip to Punta Gorda FL. Can anyone recommend a good campground with full hook up in or near Punta Gorda? We are driving a Forester 3011DS towing a car. The dates will probably be after the snowbirds leave.

Not Punta Gorda, but Port Charlotte- we stayed at Harbor Lakes. It's a RV park with probably 70% park models/"permanent" trailers and mobile homes. Our spot had a nice cement pad. Pool, hot tub, and a lot of activities for adults (we were there in December). I'm not sure what the off season looks like.
