RV cover in Colorado

My first post!
So, I'm new to RV ownership. I take delivery of a 2014 Rockwood Roo 183 later this month. So excited!

I see as I drive around the front range of CO, that many RVs in RV lots do not have covers. Is it just too windy? It sure is windy here. And to make matters worse, I'll be storing my RV in an extra windy place. In fact it's right next to NREL's Wind Power Lab.

Thanks for your help, Coloradans!

I would just make sure to keep it very clean. When it gets dirty then sits in the sun, wind, rain and snow that is what deteriorates the finish.

I don't cover the 5er either. Just clean and wax it.

I'd make sure that it is FLAME RETARDANT!! Seems like "The West" is on fire every summer!
