we have allstate for the rv, house and cars. worked out pretty good once we got the house back on , rates dropped off considerably
we got a quote from gieco last fall but it was a still a bit high
we have had allstate since 1988 so i am sure that helps a bit...maybe???
big thing for since we live in the rv is having the house as the primary residence and list the rv as a vacation thing so we could be on vacation anywhere and still be covered for liabilty as with the stick house.
full time rv insurance is really high becasue youhave to carry liablity like a homeowner does and it adds up fast

Were using Foremost for our carrier. Being a motor vehicle damage appraiser myself..i feel more comfortable haveing a company that specializes in travel trailers.

We went with Good Sam (GMAC) as Wawanesa could not come close to the rate. Also...and prolly most importantly, we got the 'full replacement' coverage. I've heard horror stories from those who did not get it and got hosed as TT's lose a great deal of 'value' quickly. Full replacement coverage was only like $30 more for 6 months...well worth it. Besides, they go by MSRP NOT what you actually paid. When I was buying the insurance, I had to laugh cuz I would have made about $8k overnight (cash value) if my brand new TT had burned to the ground that evening. Might have gone to jail, but that's another story...lol. Makes ya wonder why there is so much insurance fraud out there.

We have Nationwide on everything we own for about 20 years now and no complaints on them from us.
Little pricey but been there so long its hard to switch.

I think there is some economy in staying with one company, or at least putting all your insurance with one company. Usually there are discounts, and you're in a better bargaining position if you ask for lower rates or you'll shop around.

We have our cars, boat and TT with AAA. We'd have the house as well but our home insurance payment is paid by the mortgage company, and I'm afraid of opening a can of worms if I try to make any changes.
