RV Lock cover cracking

I have a COMPACT RIGHT HAND RVLOCK KEYLESS ENTRY HANDLE from RVLock and the cover is cracking especially where the numbers are most used. If anyone has experienced this same issue what/if anything did you do to resolve this problem. I sent RVLock an email today 11-7 but won't hear back until at least 11-9. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

You can buy a new membrane for the keypad. They are inexpensive.

I had this issue also with the RV lock. I decided I did no longer deal with an inferior chinse product.

I went an purchased a electronic lock made here in the US by Bauer Products. You can tell right off from the initial installation that the Bauer product is superior in everyway to the RV lock that is made in china.

The lock I purchase is a direct replacement for the standard key door lock on my RV. There will be a released in Nov,2020 a lock that can be paired to your phone. This will allow you to lock and un-lock the door lock remotely from your phone. Here is a link to the home page to Bauer products.

You can order a new numbers pad overlay from RV Lock for around $10.
It’s about a 30 second job to remove and replace.

I have had to replace the overlay once in 4 years of full time living.

We've gone through two of the pin pad covers in four years. Just order the correct one from RV Lock.
