RV Wax

Hi,

Looking for recommendations on wax for fiberglass exterior? To date, I have only used "Protect All" but it is my understanding that it is not a true wax preventing it from lasting as long on the finish.

Thanks.

Meguiar's RV and Marine One Coat wax finish #50...great product, been using it a few years. Long lasting and pretty easy to apply and remove. It's a blue bottle. I get mine at Menard's. Some say Nu Finish works well but it's a polish and not a wax.

Tried many products including Meguiars, Nufinish and just about every other popular brand over the years. The best I've found is Blackfire Wet Diamond, easy to apply, good protection and lasts. Great on vehicles too.

Every so often this topic comes up almost exact in form. Since my boating days I've been a big fan of Nu Finish. Economical, easy to apply, and pretty easy off though it there will be some wax/polish dust when removing. Based on the same topic on another forum someone posted they like Mequiar's #21 Mirror Finish Polymer Glaze. Because I've been using N.F. for so long I thought why not try something different. So I bought a half gallon of #21 on Amazon for about $35. I just finished my rig this week with it and I must admit the shine is excellent. Time will tell how well it will last. As I was applying it though I did ask myself why I was switching from N.F. when my rig still shined from last years waxing.

I have been using Ibiz for over ten years on everything. I don't know if it is readily available other than online. I bought my first bottle from a vendor at the Carlisle Corvette show, if it's recommended for Corvettes it's gotta be good. It's been said not to wax the decals but I do and my 04 looked as new when we traded it this Spring. Dealer said it sold in three weeks for their price. The wax goes on wet and wipes off wet and lasts all year. JMHO.

What about an aluminum tt? I know this tread ask about fiberglass but was just wondering what aluminum user's are using with all the fancy decals stuck almost over them..
