RV Wholesaler Financing

Has anyone took advantage of their financing? Just looking for peoples experience. Ones that did finance through them was the rate competitive with your local bank or Credit Union?

Thanks for your input.

We used them. It was about the same as the local CU and they offered a discount of $1000 to use them. Overall it was easier because it was "all in one house" YMMV

We had the same experience. We didn't order ours from the Factory, but it had just been ordered before we talked with them so we had to wait for it to be built.

So with the wait? How did financing go? Did you put deposit down, apply for financing but not have bank disburse money until after your PDI?

I’m figuring 3 months before delivery, so if I ordered now in March it may be at RV Wholesalers by June.

We also financed to get the extra discount. They had the unit we wanted in stock. Put our deposit down and went through application process. When we picked up RV we signed paperwork after PDI.

No problems or issues. RV Wholesaler was great to work with. Rate was slightly higher then bank but still competitive.

We used theirs too when we bought . Ended up with Huntington Bank which is nice as we have one near us. No issues with the process.. Filled out paperwork , it went thru while we waited , paid the deposit and a week later took the trailer home..

Yes. Delivered to RV Wholesalers

We made the deal. Put a $500 or $1000 deposit on the unit. It was received at RV Wholesalers. Set up a PDI time. Drove up. PDI and acceptance. Paid more money on unit and sighed the paper work. The only “bad” experience was pretty good pressure for extended warranty. Met one of the owners and felt like he would stand behind their units and appreciated the business.

RV Wholesaler Financing

Well I put the $1000 deposit down tonight. They are running credit. Banks were closed so wait for tomorrow to find out terms. And if we are approved.

Sort of nervous but excited also.

I don’t remember the exact sequence. Seems like I was approved. Selected exact unit. Placed deposit and ordered. It was gonna cost $1600 to get delivered so we scheduled time off and drove to pick up. We camped back home the 900+ miles. Funny DW mentioned that trip as pleasureful and wished we could do it again.

Good luck with your adventure..and congratulations.

I have no experience with RVW but I’ve read here than some people have done the financing to get the extra discount and then paid off the loan after the minimum time and secured alternate financing at a lower rate.

Yeah I picked my last one up in Mansfield, OH, RVW is just a couple hours further.

I have had a few emails back and forth with salesman. Been very good. Found the two contenders at a Campers inn outside Philly drove down to get inside unit. The Puma won out for space and on board genny. Sat with CI salesman he came back with an outrageous price and low trade, Basically high retail. I said thanks for you time left store, wife drove home and called RVW and started the negotiations.

Tomorrow will find out if we are Puma Owners! Went from a Wolf to a Cat!!

Congrats.

Our local dealer was over $6k higher on a cheap RV.

This is our second Puma. So far we are happy. The only bad part for us is we don’t get to use it enough.....maybe one day.

We did this and saved $2000 ($1800 after the interest was paid). Overall we had a good experience with RVW.
