Meh, bought our 2011 26rls from a local dealer, negotiated 8500 less than asking price and was happy with it.
Wasn't worth driving into the states to save the 1500-2,000 bucks best difference we could get (we live on Vancouver island).
Then, we decided we liked a 2011 831rlbss with the atrium slide the dealer got on the lot a month later.
They traded us in, paid off the loan, bought down the interest rate for us and we came out paying a bit less than their asking price on the 831rlbss.
We had bought the extended warranty (7 years bumper to bumper) and they paid to the transfer fee for us to the new trailer.
And then, icing on the cake was they ate the difference in taxes on the new unit without us even asking.
I highly doubt that kind of service could have been given by an internet dealer.
Sure we paid more than we would have, but we got the service and face to face dealings we wanted.
They fix everything we find within a couple days. They're 5 min down the road and when service is required they come out and haul the camper to the lot and then back to my driveway when done.
I'm satisfied with paying more for a good dealer experience.
