Said Goodbye to Our Vengeance

So we’ve said goodbye to our trusty 2018 Vengeance 26FB13 toy hauler and replaced it with a mammoth Highland Ridge Highlander 350H 5th Wheel toy hauler. Got tired of the Honda Talon SXS taking up 95% of the living area when loaded, and the black hole garage in the Vengeance when the toy was out. The Vengeance was a great trailer and we have a lot of great memories with her, but we just outgrew her. Here’s the new addition:

I’ll still lurk around this site because there is a lot of General RV knowledge being shared here and I’ve always appreciated your help!

Congratulations on your new rig. That fits the definition of a trailer with a garage attached. Please continue to lurk and chime in when you can. Many rv problems aren't 'brand specific'.

Congrats! I too changed to a highland ridge RV, love it so far, however, this forum is still my home. Very little activity on the OR forums.

Thanks! Glad to hear you’re happy with the Highland! So far it seems to be a well made coach... at least by RV standards!

Thanks! I think I’ll like it! Not sure if it’s a trailer with a garage attached, or a garage with a trailer attached, but either way it will be nice to have the Talon in its own space and be able to get a Coke out of the fridge without having to crawl through the windshield and pull it out from in front of the fridge. Of course now I’ll have to put out 2 slides to get in the fridge anyway!
We looked really hard at the FR Vengeance Rouge 5th wheels and really liked them, but nobody in our area carried them.

We have a Vengeance Rogue 31v and very satisfied. Fiver would have been my first choice, but towing with a Suburban at the time....sooo. It's totally livable when slides are in. The enclosed garage makes a nice patio when the toy isn't inside.
As said...RV and quality, while not mutually exclusive, isn't a fine art. RVs are for thoughtful 'tinkers.'
The toy ain't a SxS, but it does have a Kaw 750 Brute Force powertrain stuffed into an EZGO txt. They oughta build them like this for us "campground" cruisers.

You will be happy with the Highland Ridge. We are going on our third year and not looking back. We talked to the founder of Open Range at the Tampa show this year and he was very interested in our opinion and how we used the rv. Great products.
