sheet vinyl flooring

Has anyone had to replace the vinyl floor covering in their TT yet? Is it put down with adhesive?

I believe the vinyl flooring is put over the entire floor before any walls or cabinets etc. I would think that it is just secured at the edges. I had mine cut and peeled back to replace the flooring beneath in our 2011 for some soft spots. It was not glued down.

[QUOTE=KKonyha;2664792] what did you use for the repair. My floor is in good shape, no water damage, just spongy in a couple of spots.
How did you replace the subfloor? I had planned to pull up the vinyl and cover the existing floor with 1/4" luan and re-use the vinyl. it is in great shape and could be retained with 1/2 round molding.

I had to rebuild my floor so I stripped the luan/insulation sandwich down to the aluminum floor joist and used solid wood to bring it up to the existing good floor. This was in the bathroom so it made a better base for the toilet.
