Shipping topper home

On impulse we just purchased a new 5th wheel in Apache Jct AZ. The problem is, we had not planned it and now have a topper I have to somehow get back to Montana. To box and ship the topper will cost over $1,700 and driving back to pick it up is not desirable. Any suggestions anyone?

Thank you in advance

Yep, shipping costs for slide toppers is very high, due to their length.
I ordered through CW, who installed it. That way it was cheaper.
Not many cheap ways to ship a 20-30ft item.

uShip is a Very good service! You could sell your topper to someone with the same truck and buy another type of cover that could be used with a 5th wheel also! Youroo!!

You can look for a moving company that may be able to add it to a load heading in your direction.
We got a free 10 piece dining room set from my wife's aunt in Chicago and got a moving company heading our way to throw it on the back of one of their trucks. They prefer having a full load instead of hauling air. Cost us $350.
Can't hurt to try.

Got it handled. Found a friend/snowbird who lives near us now and he can take it back for me.

Thanks for the input folks!
