It amazes me that people don't poop in their toilets.

And most boaters I know not only poop in their toilets, they also flush the paper as well including on my boat.

My wife and I don't in ours simply because we don't want to have to subject the other to any smell that may be a result of the deposit.
Plus we have only been married 23yrs and are trying to keep the honeymoon rose-colored glasses phase going.

I am more concerned about opening the door leaving a public restroom knowing the person before me did not wash his hands.

I have been RV camping for 18 years and don't use them. I had a box and they rotted out so they got tossed. Like others, I never have had a problem. I do keep a pack of baby wipes in the compartment where the dump valves are just in case I do have an accident which most likely would be when taking the cap off to attach the hose if the valve starts to leak.

I must admit, this is one of the most entertaining threads I have seen in awhile.

Let me shake your hand

yep me neither but I'm real cautious with this process cause it can be very nasty, clorox wipes do the job keep them with hoses etc

My mind is sharp as a tack. I have yet to forget there were gloves in that compartment for earlier use.

Fortunately, I have enough common sense not to touch the stinky snake with my bare hands. Until I can install the 6" conduit carrier, it stays in the truck bed in a heavy duty black trash back with the firewood .

Think after 5 trips the dysentery caught up with them and now selling? Gross!

Nope. No gloves. And we're usually leaving in the morning so most times I have to set my breakfast burrito on the flush water post so I can hook and unhook. Lol.

Could have, only because he said it was first. I use disposable gloves even when at station near bath house as everything doesn't go as planned. Bath houses are sometimes bad and rarely have hot water. Simply use reasonable precautions to prevent unnecessary risk.

English plumbers creed: It might be poo to you but its my bread and butter!!

I rarely use gloves either. But one thing I do is open the gray tank first, just to set the hose, so that when the black starts flowing it won't fly out of the ground pipe.

I always thought all toilets were to poop in and to wipe with paper after the job was done. Always in my campers and on my boats. I wonder if those that don't poop in the camper toilet have a bucket and bag at home as well~~~

You are funny! I was laughing when I read your post! We don't wear gloves and we haven't had any issues...... just was hands, Clorox wipes and sanitizer [emoji3]

No Gloves, if you get poo on your hands you are doing it wrong.
