You can receive a fine for that in Ville Platte, LA (sagging pants), city ordinance or something.

I wish I had gotten a pic of it, but a few years back I was working a project in northern NJ. On the way into work one day I saw:

"Free firewood - $5"

I looked for it the next day and saw:

"###### firewood - $5"

Also, there's a particular backroad near home that gives me a laugh every time I drive it. On one particular pedestrian crossing somebody painted a beer bottle into his hand and a white 'x' at his eyes to turn it into a drunk crossing.

I have the photo somewhere so I may have to start looking for it. Back in 96 I was in Muscat, Oman. We headed North out of town to check out a dive site. The sign on the roadway stated "Probably the Worlds Premier Dive Site" or something to that effect. It was beautiful water there.

We looked it up afterward. This "population 1" person is the mayor. And there also seems to be one sex offender there... Hmmm...

I wish I had taken a picture but did not. When traveling out to Utah, somewhere in the mid west, before each town centenary was a sign that read "DISPOSAL AREA". I must have seen four or five.

Left the campsite in Colorado and on the way to Moab we had to stop so the DW could tinkle. This was the only town for a hundred miles - Bedrock. We had a laugh, the only building was the Bedrock General Store - another chuckle. But what had me laughing so hard I cried was (this is no joke) their one and only bathroom.

I know that sign. On I-94. I pass it every time I'm going to my parent's seasonal site.

My wife and I finally checked out Sandy Bottom Nature Park in Hampton, Virginia last spring. The facilities look great. A great playground, campsites and yurts for overnight camping and a dog park. We couldn't understand why everything seemed to be under utilized until we saw this sign:
