Skylight Shade/Cover

I have a Sunseeker MBS 2400r with a rather large skylight (25" x 33") above the dinette. Does anyone know where I might get a shade or a reflective cover for it? It really lets in a lot of heat. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. I blocked my skylight off in the bathroom because of that exact reason. I used foam and reflective foam. I don't know of any company selling covers but a google search might help

Thanks for your reply to my question. I have purchased a reflective cover for my skylight in the bathroom but was hoping to find something for the larger skylight above the dinette. I have done many google searches but haven't been able to locate anything.

Look for a auto windshield sun guard at Walmart or a auto parts store. Home Depot sells that material in rolls. Just cut out the size you need.

I belive in that in late 2018 or early 2019 FR stopped putting on the 2 way accordion blinds on the skylights. My late 2017 has them. You should be able to get them through your dealer as the skylights are the same size.
They would be very simple to install, 4 screws into the skylight framing.

Why they stopped installing them I can only guess $$. They work very well to keep the light and some of the heat out.
