Slide crank location on Salem

Where do I hand crank the main slide on a 2012 Salem hem

Need to crawl under the slide, look for slide motor near one of the rails, you'll see a bolt on the end of the motor that looks similiar to the one on your stabilizer jacks, put a socket on it and start cranking...much faster if you have a drill.

Do I need to unbolt the undercover of the trailer to see the motors

Check behind your steps. It may be there, not guaranteed, but that's where a lot are located.

Yes, to access the motor you will need to have the undercover removed.
