Slide outs

How and where do you oil or grease the slides outs so they don't make the awful screeching noises! I have tried googling this with no luck!

Sometimes the screeching noise is simply the rubber seals. The newer the seal, the louder the sound. Not always a bad thing.

I have a 2005 Cardinal with 3 slides. I bought it new. I can tell a difference between a rubber squeak and metal drag. I use 303 on the rubber seals and that seems to work well. There are adjustments on the slide frame for metal drag and I have adjusted that on two of my slides.
Lippert says to only use dry lube on slides. I got tired of some drag and squeaks and finally sprayed some white grease on the slide gear box inside the frame. I could really tell a difference. The gear is inside the sealed frame area so I don't worry about much dirt sticking. Another Cardinal owner said he sprayed white grease on his many years ago and had no problems. So I took a chance. I know some grump may chastise me for it, but So far I am happy. Just fyi.

Use 303 on the seals and RV dry lube ( liquid wrench spray) on the gear rack
