slide outs

Just bought a new 8315BSS wondering how long I can leave slide out without damaging unit. We store it at home and will probably spend 50 or more days in iy a year

Slides stay open on dealers lots for a long time so, other than to run it in and out occasionally to make sure things are working, you can leave them open for an extended period. 50 or more days camping in it will certainly not hurt it.

Man I wish I could spend that much time camping.

I don't have slides, so take this for what it is worth. If you are moving often, don't worry about it. If you are going to leave it with slides out for a while, on the same spot, I would look in to the slide supports. As Hokie said, if you are going to leave them out at home, cycle them once a month. Make sure your battery is charged before you operate them, and don't forget to lube the tracks.
