Slideout making groove in carpet

Shortly after I got mine... I noticed a black mark on the floor(linoleum) and I figured out it was the plastic slide on the bottom of the track dilly... I bought a cheap carpet floor mat and when I bring in the slide I stick it under there. I was gonna take it back, but I never did.

Short story is my slide is out of adjustment.

Will try the mat, too much trouble to take rv to dealer.
