I got this one from HF - 3 gal. 1/3 HP 100 PSI Oilless Pancake Air Compressor

Very lightweight, plenty of power to blow out the water lines and it's got enough power to bring my rear tires up to 80psi (takes a little while, but not really an issue).
It's small and light enough that I carry it in the motorhome's storage compartment.

If you look for HF coupons you can buy it for $39, or if you have a 20% off coupon you can get it for around $47.

My small compressor is my small shop-vac that has both suck and blow. In fact I use it to blow out the through hull valves on my cruiser. For both the cruiser and the camper I use the suction to clear the lines after draining with the low points open.

Just got this at Menards for $99. Fills tires great, small, portable and can be used to winterize.

You don't need a great big industrial model...between 3-5 gal is more than enough as it will give you upwards of 100 psi. For winterizing your plumbing I read somewhere and do it myself that max through the plumbing is 50 PSI and max for my tires is also 50 psi. I have a knob on mine for setting the psi limits. I got mine at Canadian Tire which makes it a Mastercraft Product for I think it was $75. but I bet if you change the paint from blue to red or green and stencil another name on it, it will work just the same.

I bought a Porter-Cable C2002 at Home Depot last week. When I looked, but didn't buy, two weeks ago it was $170 at Lowes and $130 at Home Depot. I went back last week to buy it and it was marked down to $99. Sometimes you just get lucky. It only weighs 30 pounds. It didn't come with a hose, but the quick connector is the same as on the hoses I already have.

I had seen them advertised several times over the last six months by Northern Handyman for $99, "factory reconditioned", but the local store never had them. It was lucky for me they didn't.

I saw a Craftsman that was identical to the Fini except for the nameplate.

Yep I did too, after investigating I found Fini makes it for Sears and they slap the Craftsman nameplate on it and charge like $30-40 more for it..

I picked up this compact Compressor at Amazon (ships free if you are a Prime member). Had it for a little over a year now and it has worked flawlessly.

Here is the scoop. It's the same as the Craftsman and the European Stanley. Those go for $129 to $149. Lowes just reduced their price from $119 to $99 but its on sale in November for $79. You can register for alerts by email and get an immediate coupon for $10 more off. I bought one today and store guy said they just got them in.
