Snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had TEN INCHES of snow today (original predictions were for 1-3"!) The snow started at 7:30. It finished about 2:30. HEAVY, WET snow!

This was in the back of the store where I park -- Abby (our 9 year old) laughed when she saw it -- said it looked like my truck had an AFRO!

Who's gonna come help shovel out my truck bed???????

See on the first picture, that I have a little "fish" on my antenna? Here's a close-up! This one just makes me giggle -- very wet, heavy snow! Perfect for snowmen and snowball fights! :B

Our side yard (this may be the picture I use on our Christmas cards this year. I used the barn last year, so I can't do that again . . .)

Our very old (over 100 years) barn:

And finallly, the saddest picture of them all!

The Taj Mahal looks very cold and lonely! It's going to be a LONG winter!

Ok so I won't tell you that it hit 80 in central Virginia today.

One time our local weather forecasters were calling for a light dusting of snow. The next day after digging out of the 15" light dusting we had, one of them came on the tv with a ruler, a piece of cardboard that said new definition of light dusting, and a sheepish grin. The others did not mention the fact that they royally missed the forecast.
