I live in North country as well and we have snow on the ground for a good 5 mths of the year, so I am all too familiar with driving on snow and icy conditions....however driving on ice and snow in a car or truck is a whole lot different than doing it with an RV! Much harder to control, and it can put you out of control in a heartbeat.

I live just south of Tucson. We got 3 inches of snow on the ground and it was very slippery.
Go to AZ511.com it will give you road conditions and closures. Also construction locations.
I just looked up I-40 at Williams and it says 4x4 or chains.

I'm pretty sure the OP has given up on us...
We didn't give her the answer she wanted to hear.

Hey CHICKDOE
I live in Payson as well. Woodhill development. Just made it home from California on Wednesday before the storm hit. Had the rig unpacked, winterized and stored away in 2 hours.......Glad I was home for the storm.

been busy with the snow shovel. got maybe 1/2 of the driveway done. a couple more inches of snow last night. bright sunny skies today. last i looked the temp was 39 degrees. the forecast is for normal temperatures in a couple of day which would be mid to high 50's.

Roadway conditions and cameras are available here. The roads are open, but there isn't much traffic showing up.

Considering today was her arrival deadline she probably considered the real advice, ignored the condescending comments, and made her travel decision while there was still time.

No, she wasn't. She is driving a MH and that is obviously a trailer.

If she makes it without a hitch she should change the name from Sunseeker to Snowslayer.

Azdigs, i see from your pics you got a heavy frost. You should live in Michigans upper penninsula then you would see real snow accumulations. Lol safe travels whenever you get that fiver dug out.
