Solar panel and power

Is it ok to have a solar panel and power connected to my camper while I am away from it for a week in the event the power may go out. I will be leaving the propane on so the fridge will stay on no matter what happens but would like the batteries to stay charged as I will be taking my camper to a different location next weekend. What does everyone think. Thanks.

I have 520 watts of solar changing my 435ah battery bank with a charge controller and I have my RV plugged in to the power pole. The solar just keeps the batteries charged plugging into shore power doesn't bother anything. The converter also can charge your batteries when plugged into shore power at the same time your solar is charging. Use a charge controller from your solar panels so your battery bank don't get over charged. If you loose shore power the solar panels will keep your batteries charged.

Ok thank you. I do have a sun saver connected between the batteries and solar panel so I'm good there. I figured I was fine but wanted to double check.
