Solid Step Handrails

Hello everyone,

I just installed a handrail on the Lippert solid steps of my 2019 Wildcatmaxx. I called Lippert and they said they’re working on a handrail but couldn’t say when it would be available. Currently Morryde is the only one that manufacture a handrail for their step. I called them and they said ther handrail would not fit on my Lippert solid steps. Well, I went ahead and bought their handrail and it bolted right on. All I had to do was drill the holes in the step side frame for the bolts. I did have to relocate only one hole. Other than that it installed in a matter of minutes and folds up with the steps into the fifth wheel when I get ready to travel.

One happy camper.

My wife recently slipped on our steps and the handle broke her fall stopping her from being serious injured. It also broke the handle. We replaced ours with this same handle and really like it better than the original. It provides even more support and I would recommend to anyone.

Wow ! At least she wasn't hurt. I like the handle. It would provide extra support and stability for my wife and little grandkids getting in and out. I have looked but can't find it in white.

That is the same handle I've been thinking about.

The only reason I haven't swapped out the shorter stock handle yet is that I like to use that that handle as a door stopper for the screen door as I have three large Mainecoone cats and they've been known to open the screen door, so I flip that over the screen door so it can't open unless that handle is flipped out.

My entrance door had a gas shock on it and only opens straight out, and the longer handle won't flip over the screen door all the way as it would make contact with the open entrance door first.

They're not. If you get out of the thread and back in, you'll only see 1 occurrence.
