It is just my DW and I 80% of the time these days and my DW's primary requirement was "big enough so she didn't run into me all the time". The 2703WS has the opposing slides and is so far exactly what we needed.

Last year we purchased a 42' 2016 Heritage Glen 5ver with the out door kitchen and the washer dryer hookups. I can retire in 3 years and the extra space for us to live in 5 to 6 months a year to get away from the Canadian Winter justified the extra size.. we traded a 35' 5ver that was not going to work unless I made a lot of custom mods. The new one has a Tub / Shower unit with a small seat built in. The seat / tub is useful for foot washing or when our knees or ankles are sore.

Our trailer mostly goes to larger full service camp grounds, so size is not much of an issue. Provincial and State parks are not of real interest to us unless there is something special to see.. Near Las Vegas / Grand Canyon is a power/water only campground in the desert that we want to go back to...

We love our double sink and the storage in the bathroom is really amazing! Those cabinets below could hide a body

And every mirror opens to reveal really REALLY large storage shelves, and the linin closet to the left is huge as well!

Our Crusader 351REQ has a double vanity and a huge restroom area. This is one reason we love it....drinks for 8, dinner for 4 sleeping for 2. The best thing is being able to change clothes or get dressed after a shower or get ready for bed and have plenty of room to move around. We are frequently sharing the space and will look for the same on our next upgrade! Floor plans seem to try to accommodate everyone's needs.

That's about 3 times the counter space in our camper's bathroom and kitchen combined.

Looks like the two of us think alike!

Especially the part "drinks for 8, dinner for 4 sleeping for 2" - Our Mantra as well!

Gee after reading these posts, I'm thinking the DW and I have the "perfect" couples floor plan! Our Coachmen Apex 269RBKS has a large rear bathroom with a large vanity with 1 sink and loads of storage. Opposing slides, walk-in pantry, kitchen island, lots of cabinet space all while under 6,000 lbs.

35' overall, built for two (ours has the atrium slide option):

Wouldn't have it any other way. You can squeeze 4 in there, ut they're sleeping on a blow up air mattress on the fold out sofa.

More floor plans just makes for more choice. Not everyone likes the same thing.....

"This is one reason we love it....drinks for 8, dinner for 4 sleeping for 2. "

That's what my husband says, the over-the-cab bed in our MH was the first thing to go, stored in our garage. I remember shopping for it at a huge RV show, there were living rooms big enough for a Super Bowl party, 2 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, 3 TVs, granite counter tops, enormous refrigerators, some very glittery. But some people like and need that, people use RVs for so many different reasons.
*Not* using your shower? I don't understand that at all, a shower is basic.

Agree with the 8,4,2 but now?? We only have one bath and fireplace. Maybe a 2nd could go in the bonus room? 😄 Our 35' 5er was great for trips to about 2-3 weeks but when we do 2-5 months 43' works best. We 'suffer' with 43' now on short stays. Besides, I'll be cramped when they put me in a box one day, no need to be cramped now.

In my futile quest to find a new fifth wheel I saw this on a dealer’s lot. It’s a Terry Classic retro style by Heartland. Very cool looking silver and red retro trailer.
