spare tire question

Sorry if this has been asked 100's of times but when I search on this site, I don't find much. Have a new Coachmen class c and am planning to go to Alaska so thinking I'll want a spare. Even tho I belong to Coachnet, would still rather be prepared especially if I'm in remote areas. My class C has a Ford-350 chassis. What's the best source for tire/wheel combo's? Will the same wheel work for all 6 locations? Where do most people mount their spares? (We have a huge basement in our unit). I've accumulated some tools that have been recommended such as an electric impact wrench, breaker bar, 12 ton bottle jack. Anything else I should be bringing? Are the lug nuts 1-1/16 in size? Thanks in advance for any help.
