Spring cleaning and maintenance things

Since the kids are starting spring break and we are planning on heading south later in the week today was a get things checked over kinda day. Found 3 spots on the roof that required attention. Each on the corners where the sealant had pulled away and exposed a hole. Couldn't have been there too long as in November I checked it over specifically these areas. It's amazing what a winter can do!

Also did the annual "reduce the weight campaign". The box in the photo shows what I was able to remove. Would you believe that I had two Volt meters in the camper...guess you should always have. A backup.

Pulled everything out and put it back in. Even took out the shop vac and cleaned up the pass through storage in the front.

Decided about 8:16 am this morning to just head south. Good news, no water leaks, winterizing did the trick. Headed south about 200 miles to skirt the snow. We will see how long we stay.Click image for larger version

It didn't last long, got three days of OK weather. Hit snow driving back home and crazy wind that made for a fun drive. All in all it was good but could have used about 15 degrees warmer.

We are heading out next weekend. While checking out the camper found that the check valve in the LP line was stuck had to replace it. Also adding led lights under the awning, picked up a set from batteries plus.
