If you mean the ones displayed by some folks at the bottoms of their posts aka in their signatures,

I get mine from : http://www.mytriplogs.com/sig_pics.aspx

Very easy to do, just click the states and resize to your liking.
Cheers

What is the etiquette for the "states visited maps"?

This is not our first camper. Should it just display the states we have been to with our current unit or include the states we have been to with our previous camper? Is it just states you have actually camped in or do you include states you drove through to get to your destination. I would assume most people just display the states they have been to with their RV, but are there those which include states they have been to without their RV?

OK, I'll stop asking questions now. Everyone have a good day.

(NOTE: Please don't take this too seriously. Accept it with the humor it was intended, but I am kind of curious of the criteria everyone uses.)

Good question Glenn,
I don't post one on this forum as I have not been anywhere with my TT yet. On the motorcycle forum that I visit, display only the states that I have visited on my motorcycle. I think that is the spirit of the app anyway

Trailraider,
I can't get the Sig maps to work here either. We need a guru to assist us.

Near the top right of your screen under the green google
search box click
Quick links
a drop down list appears
click edit signature
when that page opens
near the bottom choose "option 2" to upload
a signature picture

At this time it's easiest if your states map is on
your desk top.
When I chose my map I used the smallest one they
had.
If you are trying to upload a map that's too large that
may be your problem.
The signature picture uploader says
The maximum size of your custom image is 468 by 60 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).
That's not too small but again, I used the smallest
one I could get at

Hope this helps!
It's been a while since I uploaded mine.
(We need to get on the road to some new places!)

Tried it several time before, but this time I read what the preview box kept telling me. To many lines and you can't have two pictures. I'll play around and see what happens.
Thanks for the info.

X2, I couldn't get it to work either. Followed instructions as posted by KyDan. The image does show in my "edit signature" page. It's size is 8.9kb

One note: I see mine is saved(was generated as) a .gif file. Does it maybe have to be a .jpg image?

Try it as a jpg and you do have a signature lines limit to
deal with.
IF you can't get it to work we'll ask one of the FRF admin
people to help.

The wife and I were talking about these on our trip home last week. I said on 46 more to go and that brought the question of how we were getting the camper to Hawaii?
