Storage options

First summer of camping in our 40' 5th wheel is in the books. We live in eastern PA. I am planning on putting up a pole barn to store it in, but that is a year or two away. For now it's sitting outside. I looked in to RV storage around us, it's going to run $400/month for inside storage. I'd rather not pay that much.

Wanted to hear if anyone had any suggestions. Here are my thoughts:

- We have a few acres so it's just stashed on our land right now. Before the barn shows up I've thought about buying/making a really crude shelter for it.

- I've also thought about maybe getting something in Florida and driving it down there for the winter? That way we can use it.

- Cover it up and let it sit on our land

- Is there anything cheaper on the east coast/northeast for storing it inside? Is $200/month realistic anywhere?

Appreciate any thoughts

Local storage yard near me has covered parking for what I believe to be $195/mo. I just looked at their site and it's the most expensive listed so I assume it's the covered spots. I'm located just south of Pottstown.
