Streaming Movies

Have you tried streaming Amazon Prime movies over an AT&T unlimited cell data plan? Our experience so far has been mixed. We are feeding an iPhone to the television using Apple's Lightening to HDMI connector.

Movies start streaming just fine, but then the stream fails after several minutes. One movie streamed fine for the first hour but then failed. Just the spinning circle.

Any assistance or thoughts appreciated!!

I have AT&T's unlimited plan as well.
I've noticed after longer amounts of heavy bandwidth use, AT&T tends to "throttle down" download speeds. Perhaps this is what you are experiencing.

Only unlimited until you hit the limit.

This is kind of a known issue with unlimited data. Its only unlimited until you hit a certain amount, then the connections slows down. Some of the internet service providers are playing with this to discourage people from streaming movies and TV shows. Takes away from the cable tv business when people do that.

It is still 'unlimited' data amounts... but the bandwidth speed isn't the same across the download as you get into higher usage. Games being played by AT&T none the less.
