Suburban furnace

My suburban furnace runs for 5 minutes and then the burner will shut down. The fan stays on. Then after about a minute the burn will relight and the process starts over again.

Anyone else have this issue? How was it resolved?

Thanks

Sounds like your over heat safety is tripping and resetting usually an air flow problem . check duct work

This is quite possibly the problem, but the burner usually shuts down quicker than 5 minutes. Try cleaning out/blowing out your intake and exhaust while the furnace is turned off.

I blew mine out with a leaf blower once by directing the air into the outside lower intake, which forced air through and out of the upper exhaust. Worked like a charm.
