That thing is HUGE. I thought that it was compact in size.

For 7 years on big boats, two years full time and 5 more 4-6 month summers, then 7 4-6 month summers in big RVs, we used artificial chamois instead of terry cloth towels.

Example: CleanTools The Absorber Synthetic Drying Chamois

https://www.amazon.com/CleanTools-14...a-401675727026

You wet them, squeeze the water out, dry yourself, squeeze the water out, roll them up and put them back in the tube for next time.

No wet towels to hang up.

We put Command brand hooks on the shower wall. Works great for raincoats too.

Lots of good ideas. One of the easiest is the tension rod you asked about and they come in varying sizes.

Drying the towels inside is going to mean that you're raising the humidity in the rig, so open a roof vent and a window if it's not too hot to promote circulation. Microfiber towels do dry quickly but they tend to be thin.

We bought microfiber towels and they dry really fast.

Many of you are missing the point of my post. I was asking for ideas on how to dry towels indoors, not outdoors. I can easily string a line outside and dry my towels. My first trip was 2 weeks ago it was cold out. Even if I had hung my towels out to dry they would never have dried in time to use them the next day. Imagine, my trailer had frost on one side when I took my dog for a walk.

So if you have any other ideas about drying towels INSIDE the trailer then keep them coming. Thanks.

I bought one of these to dry my towels. I used nano tape to secure it to the door.Click image for larger version

That's what we do. I sewed loops of cloth tape to the middle of one end of each towel. Put these hooks up high in the shower. Adhesive Hooks Wall Hangers Hooks... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075F2QTWF...p_mob_ap_share

We hang from that. But we're in dry country (Arizona) so that helps!

Some over the shower and then use over the door hooks on your doors maybe hook them on your slide outs on the trim.

These are pretty cool. I bought a couple. They're cheap - about the same as a towel. I saturated it with water, let it run off, then squeezed it into a bowl. I didn't measure it exactly but it was well over 1/2 cup. Pretty amazing. We're switching.

I use a similar rack outside. I can't get anything to dry inside.

They are great, but they won't help the op dry towels.

Extra stick on hooks inside and a clothesline outside.

A box or floor fan will dry out the towels wherever you hang them.

But if you adopt them and abandon regular towels, which we plan to do, you don't have to dry anything.

This is somebody else's thread but I'm glad I learned that information from it.

We added two shower curtain rods just above the shower. Works great for anything wet.

Also added a solar light in-between the inside and outside sky lights, works as an an auto night light
