Suggestions for drying towels inside camper

We are a family of five. That means towels all over the place. What do you guys use to dry your towels in your camper if you are not able to hang them outside to dry?

I dry mine outside under the awning by tying a rope from one awning support over to the other awning support.

Thanks for the suggestions. Stank Bait...you brought back memories with the folding drying rack. lol I might just get one of those because they fold down and can be stored.

I like the electric option but not at that price point. I will look around and see if there is a cheaper option for a plug in unit.

Thanks again.

I found a metal rod unit similar to the above linked Walmart folding rack. Mine folds down, but also has the ability to adjust the width to fit the area you have it. Mine is for the wife and I and I can set it up in the shower so any drips, go down the drain.

Mine is like this

If you have a ladder on the rear of your RV, this works great in campgrounds that don’t usually allow clothesline’s. DO NOT DRIVE WITH IT ATTACHED.
Folds up flat against the ladder to save space when not required at campsite.

Here’s one similar to that at Camping World:

https://www.campingworld.com/extend-...2Fdrying-racks

I used to have this one, made by Stromberg Carlson. It worked ok at first, but then I modified it and put a piece of 3/4” SCH 40 PVC over the top string between the two arms so it was more sturdy and wouldn’t sag.

We switched to microfiber towels for everyday use. One color for each person - we each have one set - washcloth, hand towel, bath towel. They absorb quickly and dry really quickly.

I keep several conventional towels for just in case uses.

The towel racks others suggest should work if you have drying space.

Drying towels

We added a curtain or extra shower rod to our trailer in the bathroom and it holds three towels and wash cloths to dry plus the towel rack on the back of the bath room door

Be prepared to dry clothing inside. Some campgrounds are picky and don't allowing clothes hanging outside at all. That's probably limited to RV "resort" type places, but they exist.

Clothesline

I bought one of these for our R-Pod, use wall to wall above the bed and open the windows on each side!
