summer hideaway with the grandkids

each summer we get the grandkids for almost three months. this year we spent it at our home base
it has just over 756 sq feet so oit gets house insurance and lowers al lthe other rates.

plus a large cover over the rv to help the coooooooolness of the a/c

Now that is one strange looking garage! Great set up.

Apparently, where you are....snow is not a real factor!

PS...let me in on your secret of getting grandkids for 3 months!

I have plenty of kids if you want a few for a couple of months. JK. My parents get mine quite often we meet half way when they are in FL and when in WV (Snowbirds) They only take at most the Twins, but mostly one child at a time probably One week a month on average. they have had atleast one for about 1.5 months as far as the longest streak. They will probably get a few for Nov and Dec. As we are expecting our fourth (last)

They will for the evening or maybe one night. My sister in cleveland is a school teacher and she has two teenagers, so in the summers (guess onlly two summers) she takes them all for a week, I call her and she wonders how my wife does it, but she said she just keeps in the back of her it's only a week and then of course she misses them when we come get them. then she sleeps for the next week. I don't know how the DW does it, but she is awesome, she complains but probably not near as much as I would if I were with them as much as her. I try and give her breaks but she never just wants to leave by herself. I will say they are the best welcoming committee at the campground, they wave at everyone that goes by, and one heck of a conversation starter, everyone thinks they are triplets. I just formatted my computer a few months ago or I would post some pics. All three blonde hair blue eyes.

I have 2 teens and an 11 yr old, I know the hassle. When I grew up, I couldn't wait to go to my GP's. I was there all summer, xmas vac., easter vac., every opportunity. Mine just want to stay home.
