Sway bar

OK, this may be a dumb question but I have seen a few posts on c class motorhome that have sway bars? What is the purpose and /or benefit? I always thought they were for something being towed. Even a travel trailer or fifth wheel.

You are thinking anti sway attachment on a hitch. Sway or anti, roll bars are on front suspension and on some vehicles on the rear. Look under your pickup in the front. There is a bar attached to the frame and each end is connected to each side of the front end by the wheels. Helps prevent body lean in turns. Anti sway is to add resistance to side to side movement of a tt through the hitch using friction.
