tank level control panel in kitchen

Hello. We have a question about the little Tank Level checker in our Cherokee Model 274VFK. There are 2 switches after the water level check buttons. If we have the water heater plugged into electric. We are not using propane for it. Should that red switch be turned on or off?
ALSO, we are living in our trailer in the driveway of our flooded house in Houston. It might snow tonight so will be freezing for a short time. Do we need to do anything to keep water from freezing? We do not use the toilet... use the house facilities. Thank you!!

The switch is normally for the lpg use. The electric element switch normally is inside the WH outside area.
I would think 30 or above would be fine and dandy. You can unhook the water if wanted and just use tank water or a jug of water. Ymmv.

As mentioned above, if you have just one water heater switch inside, it is for LP use.
The second switch is usually for the water pump.

The electric element switch is located in the outside water heater compartment and often hard to see. (lower left corner) It sometimes gets turned on and forgotten about and then, somewhere along the line, if the water heater isn't full of water and the camper gets plugged into shore power, the element burns out. Always be aware of the switch position when setting up/breaking down camp where electric is available.

Yeah, don't think you will have any problem.
