Watch our dogs and DW enjoy the fire.

We are loving this camper. Wish we had bought one sooner.

Went for our annual trip to Nocalula Falls in Gadsden, AL to kick off the camping season.

First pix is Falls from the base.

Second pix is the at the top directly above from the first pic.

Third pix is the puppies waiting to go outside because it was cold, around 30° on that day.

Spent this past weekend with the GK's at Historic Blakeley State Park. It's a civil war battleground. It has some very interesting aspects and some interesting history. There's one particular tree with a large hole under the roots of the tree where civil war soldiers hid.

Long 4 day weekend last week at Cape Disappointment On the SW Washington Coast. We love this campground, probably spend 10-15 days a year here.

Great pics by all! It will be at least 6-8 weeks for us Northerners to get out and enjoy the outdoors, unless of course someone will be heading south sooner. Mild winter in the northeast gives us hope of an early Spring which means April at the earliest.

Our last weekend outing was too long ago to remember. It was sometime last October. I remember winterizing the lines, pulling the slides in and packing a bunch of stuff into our shed.

We've visited our trailer about once a month since then, but only for an hour or two at most. Although it was nice enough last weekend for us to go and grill some burgers for lunch while visiting.

Now I'm looking out my window watching a bunch of white stuff fall from the sky.

Two nights at Hillsborough River State Park in Thonotosassa FL. It's one of our favs for this time of year. Nothing special was done: walked in the woods; enjoyed two nice campfires; annoyed our 13yro as much as possible. :^) Another successful trip.

Holden Beach

We took a quick overnight trip to Holden Beach, NC. This campground is really small but would be great if you like fishing. This was our first trip in our New to us 2009 Georgetown.

It’s still winter here but we took our RV to Cottonwoods RV Park in Columbia, MO while we awaited the arrival of our first granddaughter. She arrived on Feb 23rd and weighed in at 6 lbs. 14 ozs. Mother, Father, and Sophia are all doing great.

I’m not a big fan of Cottonwoods RV Park but it is very close to where our daughter and my son-in-law live. I had to do some tree trimming when we got into our site and the sites are really too close together.

Mid-October, we traveled close to home to Maplewood State Park in MN. What a great place to camp, hike and enjoy the fall colors. The kids carved pumpkins and of course we roasted the seeds!

If you're into fishing, we were steps away to a fishing hole.

The only unfortunate thing, it was like 80+ degrees that weekend, definitely not the cool fall weather we were looking forward to enjoying.

Seriously thinking of taking the name of Grey Wolf on our TT, We have only been out two times and each time it ended up being either rainy weather or socked in by fog. We got lucky with the fog though, 5 or 10 miles from camp the weather was beautiful. Next trip is to Big Bend National Park in March. Can't wait, if it rains there I will not be to bummed out; they need the rain.

The last weekend was so long ago I can't remember where we went. Just another 2 months and we'll be back at it. In the meantime all of you southerners enjoy the heck out of it!
