How do we know the indoor temperature to set our heating and cooling system

Make and model of your R/V and make/model of your heating/cooling system and thermostat.

Most thermostats (whether for A/C or furnace) have a display to set the temperature that also includes the indoor temp. Some manual controlled A/C units just have a temperature knob. (colder/warmer)

Some folks simply use a stand alone thermometer to display the indoor temperature.
