Thank you Forum Members!
We have recently upgraded from a pop up to a TT, FR 26RLS. We spent a great deal of time reading the posts on the forums. All your posts helped make our purchase informed and educated. Well after a month of purchases, reading more forums, poking around, and tinkering we went on our first weekend trip. I grew up boating in New England and I have come to find out camping is very similar. I fully expected to have some sort of issue, anything from a scratch to a major failure. I think I had prepared myself for most that could happen thanks to the many stories on this forum. Well, I am very glad to say that the trip was perfect! Nothing went wrong. I didn't open a wrong valve, hook up something incorrectly, find water on the floor, showers worked, etc... (didn't even get poo water on me when cleaning tanks!!). I just want to say THANK YOU to all that post. Something that may seem trivial may save one of us newer campers some grief down the road. Keep up the great posts and I hope to meet each of you somewhere in the future!!

We had company on Sat morning. This gator was an easy 12 footer. I thought it was a log for the longest time. Had to keep the dogs from the bank, they'd make a quick snack! (sorry for the cloudy picture, the camera fogged up. It was 72 in the TT and about 95 and humid outside).

The Campground is called Lake End Park. Great place. Will definitely be returning. E/W/S and many spots right on the lake. They have a Marina, snack bar, beach, pavilions, and probably more. Great staff and clean park. Highly recommend.
Lake End Park. Morgan City, La

What an awesome looking camp site. Don't get too comfortable though. Just when you think you have everything figured out, you will do something stupid. Don't ask me how I know this...
Great to hear you had a good time. More pics if you have them...

We've always wanted to camp at Lakes End, but when calling for reservations, they were always full, so we gave up after a few attempts.
Guess we'll have to try again.

We are always glad to help everyone, especially new campers. We were all new campers at one time. Unfortunately, when I was a new camper, Al Gore hadn't invented the internet and I was on my own, except for what I learned from my dad. (And it was a lot).
