Thanks Guys & Gals

Thanks to all that post here. I thought I knew all about RV'n till I found this site. Thanks to all that post replies for us dummies I now know just how little I knew. Cruising on this site I have learn so much!

I had a used 1994 31 foot Class C a few years back. I bought it on a whim as it was to good of a deal to pass up. Cleaned it, polished her up and a few minor repairs, and off we went. I used it to pull my BBQ trailer to cook-offs and tailgating. I only got to use it a few times before selling it for a pretty nice profit. Man was I lucky

I am 64 married same gal for 45 years. We don't need a trailer and seldom have the time to travel, but by god the wife wanted a trailer again so last summer I bought her a Rockwood mini lite 2509S.

The wife and I used the trailer 3 times this summer. The 25 footer fits our needs perfectly. I got laid up for two months, fall came, and I now have the trailer winterized and stored.

The winterizing was the easiest I have done everything was so easy to access. So trailer is now stored away fully stocked with everything I think we may need just waiting spring time.

Thanks again all. I have cabin fever and SO ready for spring time

welcome to the FROG forum and glad you found it enlightening.

We did not find this site until the second year with our first camper. That first year, we had a huge learning curve and we made alot of mistakes. I also have learned alot from all the information and discussions on this site.

I too have learned a ton from this forum. I've also tried to contribute back. But, I fear I've forgotten a lot more than I can remember reading over that past 5 years!

Someone (I can't remember who) suggested I try taking Ginkgo Biloba for memory improvement but,.......... I keep forgetting to take it!

Congratulations on the 45 years, my wife and I celebrated our 47th this past April, it is so nice to still be with one's teenage sweetheart.
Spring is coming, only 4 more months of hibernation then

Again thanks

Ginko shoot that's no fun. I enjoy being able to hide my own easter eggs too much. Funny thing is the wife enjoys watching and posting on face book.

This past year was the best summer I've had in a while. I met some very nice people at the FROG events and look forward to this year's events. Learned a bunch on these forums too though I don't do my own maintenance. Thanks to all who contribute and support this great hobby or lifestyle.

I agree, this forum has been a great help to many of us. I hadn't heard of it until we bought our Shockwave in October of 16. In the paper work that came with the camper mentioned, mentioned the forum, saying we could find much info. There was also a brochure about the FROG group which I haven't taken time to respond to. Not too sure we are into that kind of travel as we primarily use our toy hauler for just that, hauling our toys to the more remote places. We do stay in parks some but that wasn't our primary reason for buying a trailer with 160 gallon water capacity. We love camping in the mountains and trail riding with our Polaris RZR. If I ever get my Kawasaki KLR650 back together it will be going with us too.

Thanks to all the suggestions and instructions on mods and repairs to all the great people on here.

Jack and Gayle

I also agree. This forum is an absolute must for RVers. I cannot imagine how much time per week/month this forum saves its viewers. It amazes me at the knowledge is available at you finger tips.

Thank you all who participate.

Long marriages are becoming a thing of the past. Carol and I have been HAPPILY married for 28 years. 28 out of 46 isn't bad.

I tell people we have been married for 49 years, just not to each other. She's an "old" school sweetheart, we just got side tracked for 26 years.

I have also learned so much from this forum. I created an online folder in my email and save the daily emails that I think I might want to refer back to. I have been RVing for years but never owned a new TT before. I like that so many of the people on this forum are friendly and very helpful.

I think I have finally figured it out, I live in NC. I got married January 6 1970, if the laws that are in effect now had been the law in 1970, I think I would just be getting out of jail. I was 24 and she was 15, best thing that ever happened to me, it's been fun.

😂😂

DH always says if he had killed me the first time he thought about it, he would be out of jail by now!

Yes we are still married - 34 years since Oct 1982 💕

Two young kids 18 & 20 - and NO it was not a shotgun wedding 😉

DD came along two years later 👍🏻

DW and I have been married 48 years. Second year after I returned from SEA got into camping with a Sears tent. Later graduated to Colman pop up after kids came along. Now in our 3rd tv tt. Love the outdoors and the experiences we have had and now have camping trips with teen age grands. Some one told me you do not get old until you stop learning. Based on that I not growing too old as a day hardly passes that I do not learn from this forum. Keep up the good work guys, happy and safe travels for the new year.

I used to be a divorce lawyer until I got fed up with arguing about who gets the washing machine. And this after only a couple of years of wedded bliss. The Sears credit card used to buy the washer still had a balance. Whatever happened to the vow, "til death do us part"? My point is that us Baby Boomers and more seniors took marriage vows seriously. And perhaps, just perhaps, the tranquil intimacy of traveling and camping in an RV brings couples closer together. I have met couples from around the world in campgrounds who have celebrated 30+ years of marriage. I don't believe this is a matter of coincidence, but rather an expression of faith, understanding, patience, courtesy, and love. So I salute everyone with the will to stay together; you are who makes this world a better place. Happy camping, and may peace be with you.

Nice to see all these long term marriages. It does seem that folks of our generation really did believe their vows unlike the 50% divorce rate today. Oh yeah, 57 years married to my HS sweetheart and we're still living a wonderful, active life with 4 grown children and 7 grandkids
