The Surveyor is home!

Well, Our Surveyor SV291 is home after being in the repair shop since May 6th.
The new roof looks great, and I think is better than from the factory.
The damaged decking was was replaced with new exterior grade plywood instead of the OSB wafer board, the rubber roof now rolls over the side and under the gutter and rail trim instead of having the top rail and and caulk along the length of the trailer. Rubber material also extends 4 inches under front cap instead of one half inch past cap trim.
It is almost impossible to tell the fiberglass wall was cracked above the slide room unless you are on a ladder and looking for it. The color match is perfect. I'm not sure if the plastic fridge vent was damaged during removal, but we have a shiny new aluminum high dome vent that should draw better air flow.
Inside it's hard to tell that most of the upper cabinets were taken out. The new ceiling panel is a good fit and looks factory. The slide out alignment is as good as new. We even got a new battery at no charge.
We are SO ready to get our camper put back the way it was before the accident and make it ours again. and get back out to the camp grounds.
Give me 3 weekends and it will happen. (We have plans the next two weekends and our first trip out is in August.)

Congrats. It's great to hear everything went so well for you. The fact that you praised the repairs speaks volumes for the factory's ability to repair and in some cases upgade a few things. You still have most of the summer to get out and enjoy it. August isn't too far off.

Actually it wasn't repaired at the factory. The work was done at Bankston Motorhomes, Montgomery,Alabama service center where we we bought it from. We've had very good service from them since day one 2007.
