We hate the bugs. The places we camp there is a great deal of skin exposed. The bugs are the worst, and then there is the itching....depending on the location they bit, it can be embarrassing.

Worst parts: 1. Coming back to the house
2. Running out of coffee on day 3 of 5 cause someone forgot the coffee beans.

Waiting to turn the generator on at 8am to make coffee when dry camping.
Listening to kids screaming while relaxing.
Having leash less dogs trying to eat your best friend.
Stepping in a pile of dog [emoji90] when setting up.
Tight Camp sites.
Fireworks going off raining hot ambers on your roof and awning. While the camp host applauds at the fireworks.
Also packing up from a great site to go home.

I think the worst itching is caused by chiggers bites. Very intense.

A barking dog in a site near us and the owner doesn't even try to shut the dog up!

Yep agree with you. I just don't get it, why someone would own a dog that barks all the time; then bring it to a campground to annoy other campers.

Sheesh! I get these just going from my back door to my pool. And the danged horseflies and wasps don't even care about the water. In fact, having us in there splashing around just pisses 'em off.

We live near Pgh and my daughter lives in Ft Wayne, sometimes we meet half way in Mansfield Ohio and she stays with us for the weekend, the worst part for me is watching her drive away to go back to Ft Wayne.
It's great to get to spend time with her but that moment she leaves us, we have a quiet ride back home sometimes. But I am very grateful for the camper, it allows us to have those types of trips, very memorable.

I take my dog with me when I go to Home Depot. He loves riding in the cart and people come over to pet him all the time. Gives them something to do while waiting for someone to help them. Sometimes the dog gets petted for a long time before anyone shows up.

sounds like you're not cooking them right, I like mine with cajun seasoning.

The worst part for me is not packing to come home, is backing my camper in at the campground. I'm still a rookie at this. Lol

1) deciding we didn't need to take the coffee pot or coffee.
2) staying at a resort under someone else's membership.
3)packing up and coming home(cleaning trailer for storage).
4)knowing it won't be used until October.

It will get better. Our first few times it was a chore bit it quickly came natural to the wife and I. Practice makes perfect. Or at least as good as it gets lol[emoji41]

Came home from a weekend camping trip with a couple of friends. We all showered regularly and changed our clothes but the stink of dirty laundry made the whole camper smell like we had a rotting corpse in there.

I don't mind coming home because it means there's a new adventure around the corner. What I dislike terribly are some of the disrespectful folks you encounter. Some folks don't know boundaries, nor do they have any awareness of camping etiquette. Being next to or nearby one of these will ruin an entire trip.
