Thermostat issues

I have a Dometric QC21 thermostat that keeps resetting itself to colder temperatures. I have read of similiar issues with this thermostat that just bumping it or slaming the bathroom door will cause it to reset itself. I want to replace it. Will any battery operated thermostat work. It currently only has three wires coming out of the wall to the thermostat, Red, White, and Blue. Most of the diagrams I have seen on other threads are 5 wires. An advise will be greatly appreciated

I can't find that number thermostat anywhere, but Dometic uses digital communication in it's electronic thermostats and they can't be directly replaced by standard thermostats.

In order to replace that thermostat with a standard unit you have to replace the control box and pull new thermostat cable from the A/C to the thermostat location, and in most cases that's a pretty good task.

Thanks Bama. I have read on another post that this thermostat has been discontinued so that maybe why you can't find it. The dealer that I bought the camper from also said that unless I want to do a bunch or rewiring I would have to replace it with another one. I havent found another one with very good reviews but sounds like I maybe stuck with it.

Any of the Dometic digital communication thermostats should replace it.
