Thin Roof

Took the trailer in for some repair work and had the roof washed and sealed. Asked them to look at a certain area of the roof when they did it. Just didn't look quite right to me. Forgot to ask about it when we got the trailer back. All that was noted on the paperwork was it was thin. Any ideas of what I can do about it???? Trailer is put away for the winter. Its beside the fridge vent. I was thinking of maybe just taping the area with enternal bond. What will that do to the trade-in value in a couple of years??
Thanks for any input.
